1. Who we are

Bimetis LLC ("Bimetis", "we", "us") operates the Bimetis mobile application. Contact: support@bimetis.fit.

2. Age requirement

Bimetis is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete it promptly.

3. What we collect

Account data — name, email address, PIN hash (never stored in plain text)
Fitness and health-related data — workout logs, set/rep/load records, exercise history, gym equipment list, training goals, training split, experience level
Age-band information — whether you are 50 or older (binary yes/no, or "prefer not to say"), used solely for exercise personalization and safety recommendations. We do not collect your date of birth or exact age.
Injury and health disclosures — any injury or health information you voluntarily provide to customize your program
Subscription data — subscription status and renewal dates (processed by Apple App Store / Google Play; we do not store payment card information)
AI interaction data — your training profile, goals, and workout history, which are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate and adapt programs. See Section 7.
Usage and diagnostic data — app crashes and error events (via Sentry) to improve reliability

4. Consumer health and fitness data

Because Bimetis collects workout history, training goals, injury information, and age-band data, and uses that data to tailor exercise recommendations, some or all of this information may constitute consumer health data under applicable state laws (including, for example, Washington's My Health MY Data Act and similar statutes in other states). We collect and use this data solely to provide the fitness programming service you have requested. We do not sell this data or share it for advertising purposes. You may request deletion of your health data at any time by deleting your account or contacting support@bimetis.fit.

To tailor exercise selection based on age-band and any injury information you provide
To sync your workout history across sessions
To verify your subscription status
To diagnose and fix technical issues
To communicate with you, including to send you marketing and content that we think may be of interest to you
To create and maintain your account
To improve our services and offerings
For legal, safety, and security reasons
For other internal business purposes, such as operating our business, maintaining business records, enforcing our policies and rules, auditing, and IT security and administration

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on DigitalOcean managed PostgreSQL databases located in the United States (NYC3 region). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

7. AI processing — Anthropic / Claude

Your training profile, goals, and workout history are transmitted to Anthropic, PBC ("Anthropic") to generate and adapt your training programs using Anthropic's Claude AI. Anthropic acts as a data processor on our behalf and processes this data solely to provide the program generation service. Anthropic's use of data is governed by Anthropic's usage policies and their agreement with Bimetis. We do not send your name, email address, or payment information to Anthropic.

8. How we disclose your data

We may disclose your data to third parties in the following circumstances:

Third-party service providers that help us operate our business, such as for subscription management and billing event processing, crash/error reporting, cloud infrastructure and database hosting, and product analytics.
Other entities in connection with a corporate transaction, such as if we acquire, or sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets including through a sale in connection with bankruptcy and other forms of corporate change.
Partners who collaborate with us on promotional opportunities, including co-branded products and services.
Other entities for which you've consented to the disclosure.

9. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active and for as long as we need it for our legitimate business purposes or for other legal reasons. Aggregate, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal data, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@bimetis.fit. We will take steps to respond within 30 days. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell your data). To submit a verifiable request, email support@bimetis.fit.

11. Children (COPPA)

Bimetis is not directed at children. We require users to confirm they are 18 or older before creating an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at support@bimetis.fit.

12. International transfers

If you access Bimetis from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the app, you consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely.

13. Changes to this policy

We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent update.
